Sep 24, 2016 - Review

I have been curious for a while about ordering eyeglasses online  so when the lovely people at contacted me to see if I would enjoy a free pair for review I jumped at the chance. See my review after the jump.

The process was fairly straight forward. I got my prescription from my optometrist. In Australia, we have have one free test per year which we can claim on Medicare. They will happily print out your prescription for you afterwards.

Then you choose your glasses from and, as part of the ordering process, you add your prescription. They even have a handy guide to measuring your pupillary distance if it's not on your prescription.

I have been wanting to try some fashion colours, so I chose the Allen Rectangle - Blue glasses for my distance prescription. One of the things I loved when they arrived was that they are in a hard plastic case, which is great for travelling.

The material mine were made from was extremely light, which is also great for travelling, and for popping in your handbag. Sometimes if you are wearing your sunglasses, you need to carry your other glasses with you. It adds to the extra weight in your handbag or purse, which can get very heavy. I loved these light glasses, and they feel great on my face, as well.

I will definitely be buying some more eyeglasses online  from My next choice will be from the prescription sunglasses range, as I'm keen to get some for summer driving.
